I feel like we've got a lot of catching up to do, we had a pretty busy weekend! Saturday we sat around the house until about 4:00pm then Tinslea and myself went to Rochester to see Ma Ag (she's with Grandma again), while Josh got ready for the races. He was Super Excited about racing this weeked because Austan came in from Cali! He's been there for a few months at Boot Camp for the Marines. Welcome Back Austan, We're Proud of You! While at Grandma's Pa John came to visit his Baby Girl. Tinslea, Grandma, Jake and I were in the bedroom playing and Tinslea heard the four-wheeler and she started stomping her feet laughing. She knew it was her Pa. When he walked through the door she RAN straight to him!! After we left Grandma's we went to Moms to see if she was ready to go to Laurie and Scotts for the cook-out and fireworks. Scott did a Wonderful job cooking :) Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves; it's always nice to visit with people you don't see very often. The night was cut short due to the STORM!! Hopefully Laurie and Scott will do it again next year...without the rain!!
Sunday we didn't do much, just went to Rochester for the day!! We ate lunch, then went to Mom's to work in corn. Mom, Jodi, Aunt Jana, Mamaw Jane, and I all worked about 200 ears of corn. Jodi and I didn't do as many we stopped about 1/2 way through and took the ears that had already been cut of off to Uncle Allen's cows. Josh, Tinslea, Jodi and I rode the four-wheeler over to Uncle Allen and Kathy's house. Tinslea didn't really care as much about the cows as she did Kathy's water hose. She doesn't really know her Aunt Kathy that well because she doesn't get to see her that much, so yesterday was good bonding time for them. Kathy and Tinslea playing the in water for I know at least 30 minutes. IT WAS SOOO FUNNY!! Tinslea had a BLAST!!
Today...we decided we want hardwood floor in the living room and hallway. Mom had hardwood put down in her livingroom a couple weeks ago and it looks really good, that's where we got this spur of the moment idea. So, our mission has now began! For anyone who knows us, when we decided we want something there's no waiting... We went to Beaver Dam to do some price checking today and tomorrow Josh is taking Tinslea to school and going to a few places in BG. Hopefully we'll have some hardwood in a couple of weeks!
Today is Scott and Laurie's 1 Year Anniversary...Happy Anniversary!!

Thanks everyone for the calls, texts, emails and Birthday Gifts! This year's Birthday (Tuesday) was just like any other day, I had to work :( After work I picked Tinslea up from DayCare and we headed to Morgantown. I got to the courthouse at about 3:00pm. She was staying with Mom and Dad so we had some time to kill. We visited everyone in Mom's office for a while, then Josh came to meet us and we went and played outside on the courthouse lawn. When Mom got off we loaded Tinslea up and she went to Rochester for the night. No, our night didn't end as you may imagine. It was MY night!! Sooo we picked up Garcias to GO, ate it at home and watched Tori and Dean ALL NIGHT!! That was it, SOOOO relaxing! It wasn't Josh's idea of a Birthday, but is sure was mine.
Wednesday, Tinslea stayed with Mamaw Jane and Papaw Andy. They seemed to enjoy her company. I think Papaw was having some withdraw, he hadn't kept her since before we went to Florida. That afternoon Dad met me in town with her. She LOVES her Pa John! We came home to our same routine, we played outside ate supper and played some more. She was so exhausted she went to bed about 6:45pm. That was fine with me, I wasn't far behind her I went to bed at 8:45!
After work today Tinsela and I went shopping since Josh and Dad were having their "bonding time" (the Cubs and Reds were playing). Shopping with Tinslea by myself is always a challenge. She loves pulling things off the shelf and NeVeR lets me try anything on. I ended up just getting a pair of shoes and her a shirt. When we got back to Morgantown we stopped by Candi's. Lola had some shoes she had out-grown for Tinslea. We are very thankful for Candi, WE LoVe Lola's hand-me-downs! Lola was with her Mamaw so she and Tinslea didn't get to play...that didn't stop Tinslea from playing with Lola's toys though:)

I almost forgot to mention, Please Keep Grandma Linda in your Prayers. She went back to the Dr. on Tuesday for more tests. She has an appointment with the Dr. July 25th, hopefully she will be given some answers as to what the problem is at this visit.

4th of July Weekend

I hope everyone had a wonderful 3 Day Weekend!! Saturday Josh raced while Tinslea and I went to the festival. We met Mom there to watch the Star Search then we met up with Aunt Michelle, Chelsea and Zac. We watched the tractor pull for a while then we went to the pageants. While at the pageants we watched the fireworks. I was really surprised Tinslea liked the fireworks as well as she did. She was trying to "catch" them!! Dad had to work Saturday night at Aleris, but as soon as he heard them going off he called Mom to see EXACTLY what Tinslea was doing and how she was reacting - So Sweet:)
Sunday afternoon/night we had a cook-out for the WHOLE family at Grandma Linda's. When I say WHOLE I mean...Grandma Linda, Poppie, Ma Ag, Uncle Allen, Kathy, Markus, Jessi, Charlie, Hunter, Jake, Chad, Amber, Ryan, Mom, Dad, Jodi, Mamaw Jane, Papaw Andy, Aunt Jana, Mark, Ann, Uncle Joe, Aunt Michelle, Chelsea, Zac, Jim, Fammie, Juleah, Jordan, Josh, Tinslea and myself!! We have SOOO much fun when we're all together...we may not be that interesting to most but just being with one another is such a joy. As always we HAD to play corn hole and guess what....Josh and Uncle Joe have still not been beaten. I couldn't tell you how many games they played but NO ONE could BEAT them. At about 9:00 pm Charlie and Uncle Allen set the firework off...They Were Beautiful!!

I don't know about you but this week has flown by for me!! Here's a quick glance at our week...
Tuesday - Tinslea was in the Catfish Festival "4th of July Parade" for winning the beauty pageant last year. She did pretty good until we got about half way through then she was tired and ready to get out of the car.
Wednesday - Josh and Uncle Joey were in the corn hole tment. They were hoping to get to be partners but they did a blind draw :( Sooo Uncle Joey didn't make it past the first round and Josh was knocked out in the second round. After that we went to the dog show and stayed there for a while then came home. Rylee had her dog Roxy in the show and for anyone who doesn't know Rylee she is a trip. Well Roxy didn't win anything so after the show was over Rylee went to the judges to ask why Roxy lost. She said "Was it because you didn't see her face very well"? FUNNY HUH! Gotta love that Rylee.
Thursday - Well, today was the big day for Morgantown...The Catfish Festival Pageants!! Tinslea didn't win this year..but she got 2nd runner up. Her cousin Maeleigh won and Annabelle Childres (Hope McKinney Childres'daughter) was 1st runner up. Poor Tinslea she wouldn't smile for anything...until the pageant was over then she was happy. Babies are so interesting you never know what they are going to do. Ms. Lola, She is such a little doll, she didn't win but she was sure cute. Little thing just wanted her Mamaw and Aunt Rhonda LOL. Also, our cousin Cayden Southerland was 1st runner up in his age group...Congrats!!
Before I end I want to thank everyone for coming out to watch and support Tinslea...We Love You and Greatly Appreciate EVERYTHING...
