Where did the week Go?

What a week/weekend we’ve had! Josh hosted a “Little Girls Basketball Camp” this week. In the past he’s had no more than 35 campers…but this year he had 63 girls from 1st-7th grade! His camp was very successful and he had no complaints (that’s always a plus).
Friday night after his camp we went to Bowling Green to watch GC in a softball t-ment. They played 2 games and tied them both. We didn’t get in until Midnight – but Tinslea was a trooper, she enjoyed herself and being outside. OHHH and Dad was there…he is still upset over the fact that we don’t allow Tinslea to have just food and we try to watch her sugar intake. So, when he noticed we were at the park he came hurriedly walking to hand Tinslea a package of sugar-free Reeces –I had to tell him that still wouldn’t work…it was chocolate!!! I think he was a little upset, he was so excited and thought he had finally found something she could have.
Yesterday we soaked up the sun! We spent ALL day (10:30am-5:30pm) at the ballpark watching more softball. It was a beautiful day and I’m so glad we were able to be outside to enjoy it. Much of my day today is going to be spent doing laundry and packing! I leave tomorrow morning for Gatlinburg and will be there until Friday.

There's Always Next Monday

What is the deal with Mondays?? Last Monday I had a flat on my work car... Today we woke up to Tinslea's eye being matted shut. On our way to GC she started talking about her eye, so we were afraid that maybe she had pink eye. Dad drove up to Leitchfield and picked Tinslea up from the middle school then met Grandma in Morgantown - then they were off to BG to see Dr. Smith. The verdict was Viral Infection and Ear Infection (Grandma first reported respiratory but that was wrong). She is on some meds. and they have hyped her up (or Pa gave her cupcakes)haha. I don't know what we'll do when Dad goes back to work, he's been our personal Nanny.

Lastnight - Papa came to visit Tinslea lastnight and apparently he slapped her hand. No, not really but that's Tinslea's story. She like to tattletale and blame people and she keep telling us that "Papa mack hand"!!! Normally she blames things on Josh and Dad, but it looks like she's going to pick on Papa now.

Thunder Over Louisville

Yesterday Josh, Tinslea and I took at trip to Lousiville. We first went to Clarksville, IN to visit my big sister from the sorority - Meredith. Then we headed back across the river before traffic got too bad - and settled in for the evening on the river. Thunder was awsome, we had a great time and look forward to going back next year.

Our Week...kind of boring...

Tuesday night Tinslea stayed alnite with MeMe and Pa. Wednesday she spent the day with Pa - and they visited Grandma, Poppie and Jake. She and Jake enjoyed playing together - I think it's because Hunter wasn't around, when the 3 of them are together she would rather buddy up with Hunter...and those 2 are going to be a BaD pair. When Mom and Dad brought her home on Wednesday afternoon, Mom cooked some taco salad for us.
Thursday I was supposed to meet Heather and DD for supper at the Farmboy but on my way in from work I began to not feel very well. We got home and I just laid around the house. Lloyd, Melissa, and Maeleigh came over - and I kept my distance because I was just not feeling right. Tinslea and Maeleigh had a big time - you should see Tinslea's bedroom - it's all the evidence you need! As they were leaving Mae was crying not wanting to leave and Tinslea was crying wanting to go with them.
Not long after they left I did end up getting sick : ( I hate those stomach bugs! I didn't work today, jsut spent the day recovering and washing the sheets.
Tonight Josh and Tinslea are at Hunters 1st Baseball Game - I hated to miss it but I still didn't really feel like getting out.

OK so since I tell stuff on everyone else it's only fair that I tell on myself. After church we went to Grandma's to eat. I had went to the bathroom then came out fixed Tinslea's plate and was standing in line to fix my plate. As usual I was spaced out - and wasn't paying attention to anyone - but did notice everyone had gotten somewhat quiet. Well come to find out, my dress was stuck in my Thong!! Guess everyone got a big laugh out of seeing my BUTT!

Taking Advantage of the Beautiful Day

We started our day by having lunch with Austan. Then headed to Rochester for the day. Tinslea, Hunter and Jake "practiced" hunting eggs, then we colored a few.

After that we took a ride...Tinslea went along for the first part then went back to the house with MeMe.

Those along for the ride were...Josh, Myself, Dad, Chad, Jessi, Charlie, Hunter, Jake, Austan and Holdan (I'm not sure that I spelled his name correct). After we got back Mom had cooked all of us supper!!

Just another Day

Monday – We had lots of visitors…Mom, Dad, Jessi, LaVonna, Hunter and Jake came over to visit.
Tuesday – Lloyd and Melissa came to visit.
~ Tinslea loves visitors! She thinks she has to entertain..she runs around then goes to her room and brings one toys at a time into the living room. ~
Tonight – Josh, Tinslea and I met Jodi and Jared at Mi Camino and had supper. While we were eating Tinslea was walking around the restaurant with her pear. She dropped it a few times and it rolled across the floor – and we let her pick it up and eat it. – For some reason people were staring at us LOL!!!

Trevor's Birthday Party - Before the Camera went Dead

Saturday Josh, Tinslea, Maeleigh and Myself went to Trevors Birthday Party. Above were a rew pictures...my camera went dead shortly after we got there!! When we left we went to the mall, ate and then went back to Lloyd and Melissa's. The girls were both exhausted...they took a nap! Josh had to wake Tinslea up so we could go eat at the Farmboy with Jodi and Jared.
