Well as most of you have heard I’ve recently been having some health problems. They started Saturday, while I was driving I began to have blurry vision and my right hand went numb and was very cold. It took about 4 hours for things to get back to normal. On Monday I called and made an appointment with my Dr. Yesterday on my way to work it happened again. Only this time I was by myself with Tinslea driving down the interstate. I began to get scared because of what was happening and had an anxiety attack as well. I called Jodi and she met us at 231 liquors. We took Tinslea to school and she took me to the ER. Not much has happened from there….just more worries. They ran blood work and did a cat scan. Everything so far has came back normal. While in the ER the Dr. said they would need an MIR to tell them anything, and to myself I was thinking …well then just go ahead and do one!! I guess that would have been too simple . When I saw Dr. Welch today he really didn’t tell us anything. He is sending me for a Carotid Doppler, MRI , and more blood work tomorrow. From there I don’t see him for another 4 weeks, he now has referred me to a neurologist.
Thanks everyone for the messages, thoughts, phone calls and prayers! I greatly appreciate EVERYTHING!! I’m sorry if you’ve called and I’ve not answered, it’s just really hard for me to talk about everything at this time. Of course I always think the worse, and I need to realize it’s in Gods hands. Prayer is very strong and his will, will be done. I continue to tell myself he will not give me anything that I can not handle…

Tonight I was planning on taking a nice quiet relaxing bath...then a little girl showed up and got into the shaving cream. So while I was shaving my legs she decided she needed to rub shaving cream EVERYWHERE!! About 3 minutes after this pic was taken she leaned over into the tub to wash her hands off and fell in!!

A Busy Week - Happy Birthday Jared

As you can tell by the lack of posts we’ve been busy this week. Josh and a game Tuesday night, Wednesday night we relaxed, Thursday night he had a game and I had to work late. Jodi picked Tinslea up from school and kept her a while then Mom came to BG and got her so she could stay with her and Dad. Normally when she stays the night with them Dad will keep her the next day, but Dad had to work AND this has been her first FULL week to stay in the toddler room ALL day, so I wanted to keep her in the routine. So, Mom met me in town this morning with her. She’s doing so good in the toddler room!! Her new teacher are Ms. Erin and Ms. Linda and they are wonderful-I honestly don’t worry about her not being taken care while I’m at work :) And for a MOM that means the world. At the beginning of the week she would cling to me when I would drop her off, not really wanting to stay. Today she walked right in the room went to the art area got a piece of paper and a crayon and sat down at the table. Ms. Erin said she LOVES the art/playdough area – she said anytime Tinslea see’s them over there she runs to them to join in.
Tonight, Josh, Tinslea and I met Dad, Grandma, Poppie, Chad, Amber, Taylor, Jessi, Charlie, Hunter and Jake at the FarmBoy for supper. We had a nice time visiting and letting the kids play. Tinslea was happy to see her Pa John. As soon as he walked through the door she was out of her chair running to him. I hope she’s able to be as close to her Grandparents as I am mine. OHH I almost forgot to mention Hunter found a potential girlfriend…Rhonda. She was our waitress and Hunter thought she was “HOT”. He then told Grandma he didn’t like girls he like women! Rhonda later brought out some cupcakes Ashley had made for the 3 kids : ) Ashley, they said they were VERY good!!
When we left the Farm Boy we headed to the haunted house behind Fire House pizza. Josh, Poppie, Tinslea, Taylor and I stayed in the car while the rest of them went through. Surprisingly Jake did pretty good, Hunter was the one we could hear screaming outside the building HAHA.
Now we’re home Tinslea’s in bed and Josh is relaxing. He’ll be gone all day tomorrow, his B-Ball team is hosting a tournament tomorrow. Who knows what Tinslea and I will get into…

Happy Birthday Josh

Today's Josh's Birthday and he's not even getting to spending it with his TWO FAVORITE GIRLS... ME and TINSLEA!!
But, that's part of the job, he ended up having a ballgame tonight.
Tinslea spent the WHOLE day today in the toddler room at school! normally she will go and visit between breakfast and lunch then will go back after nap and snack. I couldn't believe she stayed the whole day!! She did get a little upset when I left her this morning but that's not anything unusual, she does that about everyday when I leave her. Which doesn't really make any sense because she gets so excited when we talk about going to school. I don't know...guess she just knows how to play Momma!
On our way home we stopped by the funeral home to see Robert Adkins. Tinslea enjoyed getting to play with little Maggie Drake :) When we got home we played outside for a while then came inside ate, and she was ready for bed!! Those big kids must have wore her out! OHH and I forgot to mention there are 6 Boys, her and 1 other girl in her class - Guess you know what that means!!

Poppie had to stay with Aunt Ruth, Mom was helping with the reception and Dad was still at work when we left. But he and Mom as well as Mamaw Jane and Papaw Andy joined in on the fun later.

Bath Time for Tinslea and Griffey

Today was such a relaxing day!! We went to visit Jessi and Jake and that was about it! I cooked a roast for supper and I'll have to say it was pretty good. Much better than the first one a few months ago I tried to cook. I honestly cooked that thing for 2 days in the crockpot!! We also had carrots, potatoes and rice to go with it. After supper we gave Tinslea a bath and as you can see, Griffey joined in on the fun. Tinslea thought it was funny when Josh put him in. She kept pouring water on him, and he took it very well!

Tinslea's First Trip to the Dentist

I actually thought she did fairly well!! Her appt. was at 11:00am (lunch/naptime) and she only cried a few seconds (which seemed to be all that Josh taped). Dr. Elliott was very nice and so were all his staff. Hunter and Jake go to him and we deal a lot with him at Head Start. Josh LOVED the office...he played video games the WHOLE time we were waiting. I told him he needed to get up and let the kids play :)

Afterward we went to the mall and then met my Bestfriend from college, Tabi fo lunch. OHHH how I've missed that girl. She and I were sorority sisters and roomates...LOVE HER:) I can't wait to see her again!!

When we left BG we stopped to see Uncle Joe, Aunt Chelle, Chelsea and Zac for our weekly visit. Funny story for tonight - Tinslea got stuck between the couch and the table at their house. She crawled inbetween them trying to get the cell phone then got stuck. I was laughing, she was crying...and I couldn't get her out. Josh ended up having to move the couch to get her out HAHA.

Tuesday Morning Pedicure

As I was painting my toes this morning Tinslea decided she wanted in on the fun. She was so funny, she sat so still and watched every move I made.


Josh got in on the fun too. He's so anal, she started moving her toes and wiped the polish of like 3 of her toes, so he started putting toilet paper inbetween her toes so the poilsh wouldn't rub off.

AHHH Fall Break

We took this picture Wednesday afternoon before our company came over. We don't have visitors very often, but Wednesday night Ben and Tobi came over to watch the Cubs game and Laurie came over to deliver some pics for Josh. We had a nice time visiting with everyone!!

~Funny Story~ Lastnight Jodi and Jared came over to visit. Jodi brought some things that Grandma had bought for Tinslea and one was a little thing of animals. Jodi lined all the animals up and Tinslea got Jodi's phone and put it infront of the animals and said "Cheese". HAHA - Jodi and I thought it was too cute~
