As you noticed there was NO video yesterday, that's what I get for having Josh be "incharge" of finishing things off. Oh well!! I've not heard from him yet so I'm guessing his game is still going on. Tinslea and I actually just got in an settled ourselves. When I picked her up from school we went to Walmart, I'm (actually Josh is) painting my bedroom this week so I want to get some paint samples to decide on a color. We ran into Ashley, Chad and Peyton Bridges while we were at Walmart. Peyton was having a BLAST, she was picking out things she wanted for her Birthday...I think Ashley has LOTS to choose from. On our way home we stopped by Uncle Joe's house and visited with him Aunt Chelle, Zac and Mom happened to be there. Chelsea was at her cheer practice in BG. Tinslea and Zac have so much fun together :) We try to stop by once a week or every other week. Uncle Joe starts his new job tomorrow YAY!!
OHH and thanks everyone for the comments on the video. I'm glad you find my child entertaining. I wish I had a counter on how may times Aunt Chelle and Laurie watched the video HAHA - Love you guys ; 0

Tinslea watching Wonder Pets

Tinslea has not been a child to watch TV and we've not really encouraged it, but Deana gave her a movie lastweek and Josh put it in tonight while I was getting supper ready. She seems to really like it, I think because she is an animal lover and it about dinosaurs:)

Tomorrow night is Josh's first BBall game! He's hoping all his hard work pays off, I hope so to so I don't have to listen to him gripe LOL

This video is one from our vacation to Panama City Beach. We were there a whole week and as you can tell we found ways to amuse ourselves. When you get Josh and Chad together you never know what those two are going to do. Someone has a Video of Jodi and Hunter racing on the floats, now that was funny, and I think Henter may have even beat her LOL Watching the video brought back all our memories from vacation...memories that will last forever.

The second video I took today while we were playing outside. I just want everyone to see that my child has NO FEAR! If you were to see her arms and legs you'd think I beat her, she's always bruised up.

Baby Taylor Mae "Tay Mae" Doesn't she look like Chad?

We had a busy Saturday! We went to the Rochester Festival from 10am-12pm - it was getting too hot so Tinslea, me, DD and her niece Raigan went back to Grandmas house. The girls played for a while then took a nap. Tinslea and Raigan played very well together. It's too bad Josh and Kristin don't live closer. Once Tinslea woke up we went back to the Festival and stayed until 9:00pm - we were hoping we would win the $200 again this year, BUT we didn't.
Josh raced his last race EvEr Saturday night :( It was bitter sweet...Our lives have jsut gotten too busy for him to have sooo many hobbies. I haven't spoke with Aunt Chelle today but I know Uncle Joe and Zac were going to watch him race. I'm sure Zac was on top of the world...He LOVES watching Josh Race!
Today we stayed home and relaxed!! We were outside most of the day, it was too pretty to stay inside :) Hope everyone had a great weekend. Sorry for the lack of posting I've been doing, things have just been so busy for us. Maybe I can get back into the swing of things.

Taylor Mae is HERE

Just a quick note to let you all know that Taylor Mae "Tay Mae" is finally here!! She was born today at 2:43 (I think that's right, I may be a couple minutes off). She was 20 inches long and 6 lbs 14 oz. Tay Mae, Chad and Amber are all doing fine : ) ANDDDD Aunt Cindy made it through delivery....in the room (she wasn't able to with Jessi so we were all worried).
Tinslea LOVES Tay Mae already...When I was holding her Tinslea pulled her away from me. So I let her hold her until she tried to grab her nose LOL. OHHH and she does have Chad's nose and the rest I'm not sure it's too hard to tell but she does have quite a lot of black hair.

Today turned out to be a pretty good Monday. Work was busy but at the same time not too crazy. After work I picked Tinslea up from school and we stopped by Aunt Chelle and Uncle Joe’s on the way in. Tinslea had a good time playing and showing off for them. It had been a while since she had seen them but she still remembered who Zac was. Zac laughed at Tinslea…she kept sitting in the “time-out” chair. Little does she know now, but she’ll be there plenty in a few years. At one point we were in the computer room and Zac was on the computer and Tinslea wanted to play on it so, she pushed him away and said “get” for her it’s more like “det”! When Uncle Joe left for work he said he was going to go rub it into Dad that he just got to see Tinslea. I was so happy to see Chelsea in a good mood, not that she usually isn’t but she seemed to have a better day at school. Can you imagine how hard it would be to move into BC as a freshman/sophomore?? The way girls her especially at that age…NO WAY. Chels is a strong girl and I know she will be able to overcome all the petty things going on around her. God will give her the strength to be the bigger person.

When we got home Josh was already in from ball practice so he and Tinslea played outside for a few minutes then she came in, ate supper, played and is already in bed. School wears her OUT, by the end of the week she’ll get to the point where she takes a nap when we get home and still be in bed by 8:00 pm.

The Weekend is OvEr

Why is it that 3 day weekends go by slow but 2 day weekends go by WAY toooo fast?!? We were on the go from Friday morning until lastnight. After work on Friday I met Josh in Grayson County and we went to visit Jodi and Jared at Jared’s house. Jared, Josh and Tinslea ate watermelon then we just sat around then headed to the football game. I had no idea Friday morning when I packed Tinslea’s clothes for the game it would be so cold! All I had for her was a sleeveless shirt with a sleeveless jacket, capris and sandals. Once we got to the game and I saw how cold it actually was, I called Jodi and had her and Jared run to WalMart to get Tinslea something WARM to wear. I’m sure people were looking at Josh and I like we were unfit parents HAHA> Jodi finally arrived to the game with a longsleeve shirt, a jacket, socks, pants and…pink with white polk-a-dot rainboots!! They were WAY TOO cute : ) The only problem was that they were too big for her. But, she wore them anyways. We said for like 5 minutes and laughed at the way she walked in them.
Saturday we had to take Girffey to the Doggie Barber then wait around for him to get finished. Then we went to BG to pick up a grill for one of Josh’s friends he works with. Before getting the grill we went to Shoe Carnival to get Tinslea some shoes. Poor kid she’s growing out of her’s so fast…we bought her a size 5! Once we got the grill we went to GC for Lockett’s wedding shower. We had a nice night, and of course Tinslea took center stage. After we ate they had a slide show of Lockett and Erin. While we were watching the slideshow Tinslea got infront of the screen dancing, talking, sliding across the floor and well, just being a HAM!
Today we did NOTHING. Josh hasn’t felt good, his neck is giving him problems again. When he’s not been on the couch he’s been doing homework!! I think the back-to-school thing is a little weird for him. He’s about to be crazy busy with school, work, basketball and his two demanding girls (me and Tinslea) LOL. This afternoon Jodi came over to play, then Mom brought us supper. She got here just in time, Tinslea was ready to EaT. After she ate we gave her a bath…she got Jodi soaking wet, she was splashing/throwing water on her. The more Jodi told her to stop the more Tinslea did it. As Jodi was leaving to go back to BG Lloyd and Melissa pulled up to visit Tinslea. When they left at a little after 7 I played a little more with Tinslea then put her to bed. Now….I’m waiting for Army Wives…NeW Episode tonight YAY!
DD Daugherty Overton’s Grandmother passed away yesterday. Please keep her family in your prayers as well as my Uncle Bobby, Mamaw Pauline, Papaw Andy and Grandma Linda.

Just Another Day

Today was just another day, nothing interesting. Tinslea stayed with Grandma Linda today, so Josh and I could go on to work. This afternoon Dad picked her up from Grandma’s house and they went for a ride on the four-wheeler and when Mom got home she took Tinslea to visit Mamaw and Papaw. Mamaw and Papaw are doing some remodeling on their house, the last time I was over it was looking really good! Tinslea will be glad when they’re finished so she can start staying with them again. Once I got off work I went to pick up some books for Josh (he has started the Masters Program..FiNaLlY), then met Mom and Dad in Morgantown with Tinslea. She threw an absolute fit to stay with her Pa. She was excited to see me but when Dad took her out of the carseat she started crying and holding onto this shirt. When he opened my car door she got even worse...Dad was trying to put her in the carseat and she was screaming and arching her back and would slide right back out of the seat. Mom had to get in the car on the opposite of Dad to help him get her in the seat. She has such a Temper, we can’t figure out where she gets it from…the two of us are pretty laid back.
By the time we got home she had calmed down, we played outside ate supper then put Tinslea to bed. Josh then left to go to his mom and dads to do some class work. We have to install something else on our computer in order for him to be able to do what he needs to do. We had a bad virus on the computer back in the spring and we still haven’t gotten all our programs on it again. Josh hadn’t been gone but about 20 minutes when I heard Tinslea in her room saying “DaDa DaDa”. It was TOOO CUTE!! When I opened the door she held out her arms, so I got her out of bed and we played a little more. Then she was ready to go back to bed.

Yesterday Was An Interesting Day

Grandma Linda was having a cookout but since Josh and I spent Saturday and Sunday down there we decided we would spend the day with just Tinslea (sometimes we don’t like to share her). So we got up sat around the house then decided to go to GC. When we got there we ended up spending an hour in Pizza Hut, Tinslea was enjoying herself playing and laughing so we didn’t rush. When we left there we went to the shoe store then to Wal-Mart. We ran into Missy and Talon, they got to witness Tinslea in action!! She was having a FiT! Well, when we got back home I hadn’t much more than got through the door when Jessi called and said the ambulance was taking Jodi to the hospital. WHAT?!? SO….to try to shorten a long story… Jodi hurt her back at work last weekend, and the Dr. put her on a steroid and muscle relaxer. She complained all weekend that her heart was racing (sorry JO, but we all kind of blew it off). Yesterday it continued to happen and her heart rate and BP was going crazy (I’m not sure exactly what the numbers were). By the time the ambulance got to Grandma’s she had hyper-venalated /passed-out twice (originally they thought she had a seizure but she didn’t). She stayed overnight at the hospital and they decided she had a reaction to the medications. At this point this is all we know. She is supposed to go back to the Dr. on Thursday so I’ll keep you posted.
Also happening last night, Amber (Chad’s girlfriend) thought she was going into labor. She left her house around 10:00 pm for the Medical Center but they ended up sending her home around 2:00am. She has still only dilated 1 and thinned 80%.
Today I had to leave work early to pick Tinslea up from school, she was running a fever. So I ended up taking her to the Dr. and she has an ear infection : (

Jodi has been on me for the last week to update my blog! Things have been a little crazy with work, Tinslea, and football games…that’s about all we’ve done the past 2 weeks. The past couple weeks we’ve gone to watch Hunter Gary play football on Friday night. I don’t know anything about football, but Josh says he’s the best player by FAR! But, we can’t forget about Talon ; ) We got to see him get a touch-down week before last!
Wednesday night Tinslea was in another Beauty Pageant, at the Grayson County Fair! This was quite an experience. There were 16 1 year old on the stage at one time for like 10 minutes – CrAzY….that’s all I can say. For some reason this is how they do their pageants, they don’t let you walk out one at a time. From the 16 they narrowed it down to 8 then announced the winners. AND…Tinslea WoN!! We were so proud of her.
Tinslea stayed alnite with Mom Saturday night. Mom called at 5:15 am Sunday morning and said that she was running a fever. I really think it’s just her teeth giving her some problems – she has 14 teeth now!! Josh and I went down to Rochester about 12:00. While he and Poppie watched the UK/UofL football game Mom, Tinslea and I went to see Mamaw Pauline.
